Happy Birthday Char!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHAR!

bittersweet05: Let the card do all the talking lol. ;] Just want to wish Charmaine a SUPER duper happy birthday and that she will continue to have good health and that her career will reach a new peak & last but not least, that she will soon find her Mr. Right [aka Ray of course! ^____^].

P.S. drop by Char's TVB blog to leave her a b-day msg! We're trying to set a new record & bring her blog up to #1 again for her b-day! (:

EDIT:
Just read an article about what Sharon Stone said about the China Sichuan earthquake. [she thinks the earthquake may be 'karma' due to the Chinese not 'being nice' to her friend Dalai Lama and the Tibetans]. Sorry but i just feel the need to comment on that. First of all, she's old enough to know that being a public figure, she should learn to think before she speak for her words have a certain magnitude and will be heard by many. Secondly, what does she mean by 'karma'? So anyone that's not 'nice' to her friend deserves so-called 'karma'? So how good or noble does that make the Tibetans then? (IMO that makes Dalai Lama and the Tibetans sound like triad members; if you're not 'nice' to them, you'll DIE) Over 55 000 people died in the Sichuan earthquake, most of whom are innocent villagers or civilians. What the hell do they have to do with the Chinese government's policies about Tibet? One rotten apple in the barrel does not mean the whole barrel is rotten as well. Guess Ms. Stone never heard that proverb? =\ She's basically implying that those 55 000 people who died were responsible and just paying their dues for the Chinese government and their actions. Doesn't she know that China is a communist country and that the people hardly have any say in what the government does in the first place? And she should re-learn the definition of 'karma'. Note to Ms. Stone: Karma doesn't mean revenge.

I'm just really upset by her comment and hope that in the future she'll learn to think before she speaks.
