Hi guys! Sorry for the lack of updates lately. I was/still am very extremely busy with school as i'm getting my applications ready and studying for my LSATs. Anyway, the above clip is from a radio interview of Benny Chan. Benny as i'm sure most of you may know was rumoured for a long, lonnnng time as Charmaine's boyfriend. The interview is conducted by Cha Siu Yan, a famous DJ in Hong Kong. And why did i name this post "It Makes One Wonder"? Well, just read the transcript below and you decide! ;)

B: Do you know who I will be filming with next? I will
be filming with Ron Ng.

C: I know. He's your "love-enemy". (Note: she's referring to how
both Benny and Ron had rumours with Charmaine)

B: Aiyahhh.

C: *laughs* Is there Raymond Lam too? It'll be more fun with him
as well!

B: Wah! If Raymond's in there then that will be epic! It'll be a
big laugh.

C: Does this series have a female lead?

B: It's confidential for now.

C: Oh, so the company is keeping mum.

B: Yeah.

C: Is it Charmaine Sheh?

B: Aiyahhh! Of course not! If it is then i think all
the reporters from Beijing and Shanghai will come to our set!

C: *laughs* I think TVB will arrange for something like this. A
series with you [Benny Chan], Charmaine Sheh, Joe Ma, Ron Ng, and Raymond
Lam.

B: [at the same time when Cha Siu Yan says "Raymond Lam"]
Raymond Lam! Wah! Epic!

C: Well, i hope your actions can help you, Benny.

B: Yeah and i hope the ratings will rise.

C: *laughs*

My two cents? Why did Benny have such a big reaction when she mentioned Raymond? Hmm...it makes one wonder doesn't it? Maybe Benny knows more than he's saying! :)

Benny Supports Charray?

Seeing the blog is a bit inactive lately, i decided to post a piece of old news. This is a mag scan from quite awhile ago but i only recently came across it in a forum.
Basically it's a little poll/survey thing among artistes in different categories. When Benny Chan (also infamously known as Charmaine's "former flame" - although neither has ever admitted to their relationship) was asked who he thought was the best onscreen couple, this is what he said:

"Raymond Lam and Charmaine Sheh [is the best onscreen couple] because they're both my friend and they're very compatible. Fung Hang Lit and Chun Mong Yiu are really matching!"

When i first read it i did a double take beacuse of all the people in the world i would NOT think that Benny Chan would be the one to support Charray. o__0 But it's nice to know that there ARE people out there supporting our lovely Charray! Don't lose hope guys! (i feel like a motivation speaker lol)
Anyway, i still have a couple exams and finals to write before i zoom off to Switzerland for my winter vacation. I'm so excited!! The Swiss Alps + skiing = sheer bliss!!!!!

Charmaine Sheh was said to be the third party who came between Kevin Cheng & Niki Chow’s 5 year relationship. Niki had silently supported Kevin for 5 years, but now she ended up without nothing, spending her days crying at home. Charmaine, the winner, was seen at Causeway Bay shopping in the Men’s Department buying a sweater for her new boyfriend, she seemed very pleased and was laughing happily. In 2006, Charmaine & Ron collaborated for “Drive of Life”, the two would often go to nightclubs together. In May this year, it was reported that Charmaine bought a watch worth $200,000 and a Porsche sports car valued at $2 million for Ron. Ron was accused of "eating soft rice" (Means to live off women).

Raymond Lam

Apart from Ron, Charmaine also flirted with Raymond at nighclubs, her advances were rejected by Raymond, but this did not stop Charmaine from sending provocative text messages to Raymond.

During 2000, when Charmaine & Gallen were filming “Seven Sisters” the two were caught drinking out together.

Alex Fong

In 2002, Charmaine & Alex collaborated for "When Life Begins at Forty', Charmaine's boyfriend Benny Chan was away filming in mainland, Charmaine took the opportunity to invite Alex out to dinner.

Sunny Chan

In 1999, Sunny & Charmaine were filming "Detective Investigations IV", Charmaine hinted that they had feelings for each other, on the surface she called him "teacher", but was actually trying to flirt with him.

Gordon Lam

In 1999, Charmaine & Gordon developed feelings for each other while filming "Crimson Sabre", and even revealed that they were neighbours.

Jupi: Well I know that maybe some of you will get upset when you read this news and think it's hurting charms image which is but I myself find this report really fun =P first of all they write it like if a girl hand around with a boy/guy then they are dating and they are just listing up charms romoured boyfriends but they missed out alot like Chilam Cheung, Micheal Tong, Steven Ma, Timmy Hung, Raymond Choi, Derek Kok, Matt Yeung, charms make up artist, a famous HK dentis etc. the list are really long on those they have missed so just take it as a laugh and I think it'some kind of promotion for both charm and kev, kevs serie will soon be airing and for charm she will soon be back and film her new serie with Dayo so maybe this is another prmotion trick TVB are using to promote their artist.

During the mini interview, they talked about Charmaine's many rumored boyfriends, which of course, included our Ray as well! Very peculiar though, when they mentioned that many of Charmaine's rumored boyfriends had also participated at the "Bravo Beijing Olympics" game show, Charmaine recalls that she only knew about Raymond! Hmm...

bittersweet05: Sorry for the lack of updates by yours truly as i've been fairly busy preparing to move back on campus and stuff. Anyway, now that the moving dirty work is done (not entirely true as i still have to unpack before my roommate arrives lol) here's a little update! I find it so cute how Charmaine only "knows" about Ray! :] Of course, it could be just because they're good friends but hey, at least this means they talk and stuff or it could also mean Charm pays special attention to Ray's news! ;D Either way, it's a nice little bit of Charrayness to y'all!

Charmaine Sheh and Benny Chan have had rumors for many years. There were reports that stated Benny was a playboy and this ended their relationship. There were also rumors that claimed Charmaine was dating with Ron Ng. Earlier Benny Chan accepted an TV interview and stated "I previously had a relationship that was at the right time for marriage but in the end the relationship ended. But I am still waiting for her."

Yesterday Charmaine was asked about the statement Benny had made. She said "I am not sure about this matter, if the person he is talking about is not me and I answer the question then it will be very embarrassing. My most unforgettable relationship was when I was 18 and it was my first love. But since then there hasn't been a relationship where I couldn't let go of or have the urge to get married. I only have the urge to have children and I don't reject the idea of being a single mom. But I still haven't found Mr Right." (Isn't Ron Ng Mr Right?) Charmaine suddenly says in a serious tone "Don't talk about him".

Jupi: Ok this was charms respons to bennys comment about he is still waiting for charm. And I can understand that charm is really tired of these kind of romuors that surrounding her all the time. Benny Chan Still Waiting For Charmaine

i-Cable's Entertainment News Channel featured Benny Chan (陳浩民) as the latest guest on their chat show programme this week, where he was quizzed by host Michael Wai (衛志豪) over a game of pool.

Having earned himself a bit of a playboy image over the years after numerous reports of his romantic conquests, Benny strongly denied that this was a true reflection of his personality.

"I just have a lot of friends." He said. "Mostly female friends. Those who know me will know that I am not a wild party-goer. I don't even go to Lan Kwai Fong very much."

During the interview, he also made some frank admissions to his love affairs and said openly that he is currently single and he is not particularly looking for love either. He said that there was one romance that he thought would end up with marriage, but it turned out to be another failure, he naturally lost all sense of security about his relationships.

Bearing a pessimistic view on love, Benny said that relationships are different from work and it is not an experience that you can necessarily learn from. "When you do not cherish it, then you do not learn to regret it."

When Michael asked him if his high-profile relationship with Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼) was one that could be rescued, Benny replied that he was still waiting. He added that he did not admit to the relationship in the past because this was part of the respect they held for each other.

With the outlook on his love life not looking fruitful, Benny said he is resting his hopes on his career. After leaving TVB, he has found plenty of work in the mainland and admitted that he has made a lot of money from heading northwards. He also firmly believes the adage: "A fish will not fatten until it reaches another pool."

Benny holds a very realistic philosophy about life in showbiz. "The performance industry is always changing, you can become famous overnight and then you can disappear overnight. Because of this, then as an actor, you have to prepare for the future before the audience forgets you."

For Benny, working hard in the mainland is all with the wish that one day, he will become known as "Big Brother" Benny.

Jupi: Well when I read this from batgwa the first thing that comes up to my mind was Not again. Benny have made this kind of comment on his earlier interviews and all charm can do is denied it. I really hope that the reporters can give her some spear time. But I'm sure that she will made some kind of respons to this news. Anyway this is not the worst we all hoped for a charray evening to come during the olymnpics sorry to say that ray will attend and olympic opening but not with charm instead with Linda and other actors :(
