bittersweet05: Bling*bling, i hope you don't mind me intruding on your post. I just wanted to post up more "Charray" clips of the awards. Also, it may be my imagination again, but if you guys watched the clip of My Fave Couple, you'll notice Ray doesn't thank Linda immediately even though that should be a given thank-you since they are receiving the Best Couple Award. (remember Astro 2005? Charmaine and Chilam won Best Couple and the first thing Chilam said was "Thank you Ah Sheh.") When Ray recieved the Best Kiss (with Charm) he said "Of course, i'd like to thank my partner, Charmaine Sheh." Well, there's a little food for thought! Hopefully they'll both attend Next TV Awards and we'll have some Charray moments then!

bling*bling: Okay, it's bad enough that CharRay didn't win fav couple, but what pisses me off real badly is that Raymond + Linda won. ARGGGHHH. on a side note, im glad that CharRay won fav on-screen kiss. it would've been awesome if Charmaine attended the awards though, becuz that way, we'll see their interactions when they accept the award...

Olympic Gold Medalist Likes Charray!
Yuuup you read it right! Just read in an article (from GT) that Olympic Gold Medalist, Zhang Jiewen (張潔雯) likes Charmaine and Raymond from The Drive of Life! Zhang Jiawen had won gold from the 2004 Athens Olympics for women's doubles in badminton.

女 雙奧運冠軍張潔雯 張潔雯是04年雅典奧運會的女雙冠軍，羽毛球的比較欣賞香港TVB的明星，例如《歲月風雲》裏的佘詩曼和林峰。她知道林丹認識林峰的爸爸，還說笑地指望屆 時讓林丹帶自己看看林峰。謝杏芳沒有什麽特别想見的明星，幾乎每年都香港都能遇見。她透露以前比較喜歡《我的野蠻奶奶》的男主角黃宗澤，不過從來沒有見過 真人。至于葉倩文、鄭伊健等倒是見過，早前鄭裕玲還特地到北京采訪她與林丹，因此謝杏芳的手機上系着的正是一條印有TVB标緻的手機鏈。12月2日，果然 有着不少娛樂明星到場爲國手加油，鄭伊健的女友蒙家慧和著名喜劇導演谷德昭還特地走下賽場與奪冠的國手合影留念，大有追星的味道。

bling*bling: Currently, Kevin&Charm's kiss is leading at 32 votes with CharRay's and KevinNiki's tied for second with 26 votes. I really hope CharRay wins because then, TVFanSquare's sidebar will be filled up with CharRayness since both CharRay have won best tear droppers, best actress/actor, and Drive of Life has won as best series :) On a side note, I'm pretty amazed that the CharRay DOL hilltop kiss wasn't included because IMO, that was the most romantic kiss in DOL.

Best TVB Series of 2007
Congratulations!
According to TVFansSquare's poll on the best series of 2007, Drive of Life has placed in first.
Now, Charmaine and Raymond have both won a series of polls together :)
These include: Best Tear Droppers, Best Actress/Actor, and now their only collaboration of 2007 has been placed #1. Cheers!

It's nice to know what people out there really think and that the winners really shine through, as compared to "company cannot be mentioned due to legal reasons, don't wanna get sued, huh?" 's rigged awards.

Charray Needs Your Help!
Hi guys,
Remember Pong & Fung? The Drive of Life (歲月風雲), despite being released a whole year ago, has left deep impressions for many with the incredible love story between the characters Wah Zhen Pong (華振邦) and Wing Sau Fung (榮秀風), portrayed by our own Charray.
What some of you may not know is that a lot of Pong-Fung scenes had been cut during the editing process, never making it out onto the streets.
Speaking on a personal level, i know i would walk a mile on my hands to watch those scenes and thus, together with myhelen and the fellow fans on GT (Good Taste forum), we've decided to send a letter to TVB regarding this matter. We would like TVB to consider our suggestion to re-release The Drive of Life in the form of a special edition DVD with uncut Pong-Fung scenes and make it available for sale.
However, we need YOUR help! We need to show TVB the power of Charray fans and that we all really want this to happen!
So please, just take a minute and leave a comment to this post to show your support!

CharRays History Part VI
FungPongs love in TDOL touched heart and we could see how they change during the time period and how they supported each other. We can see the similarities between FungPong and CharRay in reallife. We all should know where CharRay met in the first time and it was on a TVB course hold by their boths idol Chow Yeun Fat what it's the similar between CharRays first meeting and FungPongs first meeting? In reallife CharRay went on that course becuase they where up to something both wanted to learn more about acting and for FungPong both of them where also up to something both wanted to get the territory from Ngai Tin Hang.
In the begingin of TDOL you can see that Fungs career was much better then Pongs, Pong was just a son of a wealthy man and hadn't worked or anything that related to earn money. In reallife Charms career started to shine in 2000 when she get her first breakthrough role as Chok Kwan Hou in Return Of Cockoo and what about Ray? Back then he was still an unknown actor in TVB but was known as the son of a wealthy man.
Pongs working passion started when he met Fung, he will do anything to make some attention from Fung and in reallife Ray started to pay more attention and wanted to shine out of all the newbies so he one day could pair up with the recently most popular newbie Charmaine Sheh back in 2000. And he did make some outstanding performance in The Step In To the Past in 2001 and get recognition from the audience at the same year Charm get her first nominated for the best actress award on the 35th TVB Anniversary and her titel as "dang gah fah dan" was supported.
After much drudgery from both side FungPong finnaly get payed and it was when FungPong could sell all the 50 flats. On the other hand in CharRays life they have also worked hard to get the opportunities they deserv and in 2003 both get payed and it was with their outstanding performance in Golden Faith and Perish In The Name Of Love. After this serie both sercure their support.
In TDOL Pong did alot of things to get to know Fung better and in reallife Ray worked hard to get the oppertunity to work with charm and in middle of 2003 he can finaly find the right time and it was during the time they was filming for LWOLAP.
In the middle of TDOL FungPong haven't anyones support in their relationship and for CharRay in reallife they don't have the support from the majority of audience, but we all know that someday they will get the support and their relationship between them can flow up to the surface.

I will be going to HK today so I don't think I have time to update anything before I come back. So I will be gone for one and a half month.

CharRays History Part V
In the begining of planing the script for TDOL the producer and the script writer didn't plane to focus to much on relationship between two lovers because the series was meant to be focusing what have happen in Hong Kong in this ten years after they get back to China but the script writer and the producer couldn't just ignore the fans and the big success this pairing was so in the end they change the storyline, to be more focusing on their love and relationship developments, they wasn't much involved in the fabric and the brotherhood it was just love love and emotional scenes.
90% of charrays screen time in TDOL was talking about their relationship and how it developed also how both of them change after different situations that had appeared.
In the third collaboration between them we can see their relationship just get stronger and stronger. In the first collaboration LWOLAP you wouldn't spot much CharRay time after the filming, but in YY we could spot more and more CharRay time and in TDOL you can see that charm will wait for Ray during the time he is signing signatures for his fans. Or even if they don't film you can see that charray will stand near each other and chat

Once Again
I did mention about another Charm waiting for Ray picture in AF and finaly I have find the picture I was talking about. This pictures was taken back in the good times during the TDOL filming in mainland china.
Still there haven't been any news of CharRay so we can just be patient and wait for some good news to arrive sooner or later.

On a side note, Charm will be shooting for the Olympics MV with a whole bunch of other artistes tomorrow (or is it today? lol the time diff. is so confusing >__>) There's Ron, Bosco, Bowie, Eason, Hacken, Myolie, Bernice and basically everyone else EXCEPT Ray. :( Which is too bad as i was really hoping for some new Charray moments. >.<

Bringing Back The Memories
To follow up on the photos Jupi posted a few days ago, here are the clips of the DOL cast at a promotion event for the series back in the summer. You can see (ignoring all the screaming fans in the background lol) that Charray stuck together like "sticky bean" for the duration of the entire event and kept putting their heads together and whispering quietly and laughing loudly - VERY friendly indeed. ;] (or as i like to put it, very "老友鬼鬼" :D)

Missing CharRay
I know there haven't been any news of CharRay for very long now. The Next Magazine TV Award made me disapointed I thought it would be much more CharRay moments at that functions but probably I was wrong. Anyway even if there aren't any CharRay news I still hope this little update will make your day!

i'm sorry for like posting videos in this blog which was meant for news on CharRay. i just felt like i have a need to contribute so yea. btw, i have the torrent format of Charmaine on Super Trio downloaded, except I need to find a file hosting site that can host up to 4.76 GBs before I can upload it for you guys.
Also, I'm sorry to the rest of the team, but somehow yesterday, I think I screwed up my account in some way and there happens to be two "bling*bling"s now. Somebody help?
